Are you a fan of Young Adult books (think Harry Potter, The Fault in Our Stars, The Book Thief)? Would you like to discover new authors or titles? Tell us your interests, and library staff will choose a personalized book bundle just for you!
Children from the Oshkosh YMCA’s Summer Program recently stopped by for a tour, storytime and craft session. Their smiles made for a merry morning in the Story Garden! If you’d like to schedule a group library visit, please let us know.

September often feels like a good time for a fresh start. Cooler days and a return to routine can motivate us to try something new or pick up a neglected hobby.

This month, the library expands its hours to include Sundays. And we’re resuming in-person programs. We hope these shifts offer you more time to relax, learn and visit the library. Here are a few things happening this month.

Photography contest and online exhibit FStop Resilience asks Oshkosh area residents to share their interpretation of resilience through imagery. Adult DIY features a painted wineglass candleholder. If you like talking books with other readers, save the date for Not Your Classic Book Club.

Kids can attend Storytime, High Hopes Early Literacy Storytime, Wonderlab, and Stories and Stretches. Our trained therapy dogs are back and are ready for individual reading sessions.

Check out our Fall Events Calendar for a complete list of things to do.
Have you heard? The website Go Oshkosh Kids, in partnership with the Women’s Fund of Oshkosh, is now live! Discover local resources, events and places of interest. There’s even a Back to School Book List and information about the library!
