Music School friends! Do you know any creative grade schoolers who could use a fun & relaxing week after a hectic school wind down and get back in touch with themselves and their friends through music, art, and popsicles? Please forward this message and help us make sure we have enough campers to make these special camps "sing"! THANKS!

Concord Community Music School’s Creative Arts Camp 2021 is for students entering grades 1-6. Camp faculty Maria Isaak, Heather Oberheim, and Somayeh Kashi have designed two theme weeks especially for summer 2021, to encourage social-emotional learning through the arts. Campers have had a year of relative isolation, and the 2 weeks of Creative Arts Camp will give them the tools and inspiration to re-engage in activities that bring joy and community! Three age-based cohorts (grades 1-2; 3-4; and 5-6) rotate through three arts activity periods, learning skills and creating musical, dance, and visual art pieces. A healthy dose of indoor and outdoor games, breaks, and lunchtime provides plenty of fun and creates strong friendships. Financial aid is available.
Summer Jam Camp
For: Students entering grade levels 5-12 in the fall of 2021
Dates: July 19-23, 2021
Times: 10:00 am – 2:30 pm daily
Tuition: $235
Teaching artists: Zeb Cruikshank, Eric Klaxton, and Keith Perry
Open to students in grades 5-12 (including students that would like to bring their existing band), Summer Jam Camp at Concord Community Music School invites instrumentalists and singers to come together for a week of jamming in music of many styles, including jazz, rock, and blues. There will be jam bands for both beginning and advanced students. Camp faculty – Zeb Cruikshank, Eric Klaxton, and Keith Perry – are accomplished musicians, recording artists, and composers who will guide campers through an exciting week of creative music-making and fun. Participants will develop ensemble skills, increase proficiency and technique on their instrument/voice, work in the recording studio, and create an album of their projects at the end of the week together. Financial aid is available.
HEALTH & SAFETY NOTE: The Music School is strictly following NH and CDC guidelines for arts and music education, including face coverings and physical distancing as appropriate. We will limit class sizes in our largest indoor spaces and spend time outdoors, weather permitting. Teaching artists and adult staff are fully vaccinated.
