(SHARPSBURG, March 21, 2020)

to inquire about offerings and place orders. Groceries will be available for curbside pick up, with limited delivery to at-risk consumers.
With Coronavirus anxiety rising, McCormack Scrima is doing her part to support pandemic response resources locally. “As a mom of four young children and a small business owner, my goal during this crisis is to solve problems for my customers, and our community. As consumables become available, my priority is to remain the link between the public and quality food and household items they need. By shifting our business model we are able to make a broader impact in these unsettling times.”
Positive Customer Impact
With many restaurants, schools, community centers closed, McCormack Scrima is seeking to make readily available much needed supplies and perishables that were previously only available to wholesale retailers and restaurants and would otherwise go to waste. In addition to Dinner by Heather's daily meal offerings, the company is now offering highly coveted paper goods and groceries including but not limited to milk, egg, cheese, bread, fresh produce and pantry items.
Dinner by Heather customers are appreciative that McCormack Scrima is going above and beyond to continue to meet their changing needs. One customer, a healthcare worker on the front lines, recently posted, “I work in a hospital. Knowing long continued long days are in my future, not having to worry about what I’m making for dinner some of those days makes a huge difference in an already hectic time. Thank you for continuing your service during this time.”
Curbside grocery pick up to the public, along with limited delivery to at-risk clients opens today, Saturday, March 21 2020 at Dinner by Heather's Sharpsburg location.
Dinner by Heather plans to continue to offer groceries until the emergency is over. Consumers can go to

to inquire about offerings and place orders. Groceries are available for pick up with limited delivery to at-risk consumers daily at La Dorita Cooks culinary incubator kitchen at 2312 Main Street, Sharpsburg, PA, a designated food desert in Allegheny County. For this reason, McCormack Scrima is acutely aware of the need to provide the surrounding community with access to provisions during these uncertain times.
