Together, we are feeling the impact that COVID-19 is having on our community.  The ever-changing media alerts, school and business closings, empty  shelves at the grocery store, and social distancing are contributing to a feeling of overwhelming stress.

During times of crisis, victims of relationship violence are even more vulnerable. With our current stay-at-home order, v ictims are faced with the decision to have to isolate themselves with their abuser, feeling trapped with nowhere to go. With the added stress , unsure of where their next meal will come from, the risk of losing a job, or how they will make rent, violence is often exacerbated. In an already volatile and violent household, it can become life threatening.
With a rise in relationship violence, our services are needed now more than ever.
During this time of uncertainty, we want you to know that our doors are open and Human Options is ready to help!

Now more than ever, Human Options is focused on how we can continue to meet the growing need for our services. Our hotline remains available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, our residential locations are open, and we  are continu ing to provide our services at our Family Resource Centers as safely and effectively as possible.

If you or someone you know is in need of help, please call our hotline number at 877-854-3594.
To continue to meet the increasing needs of the individuals and families we serve, we need your help! We know resources are difficult to acquire, so at this time we are asking for financial support to continue to:
  • Staff our 24/7 hotline
  • Provide a safe place to live for families escaping relationship violence
  • Provide basic essentials such as food, hygiene supplies, and diapers
  • Purchase sanitation supplies to help us follow CDC cleaning protocols against COVID-19
  • Provide much needed therapy during this stressful time
Help us continue to keep our lifesaving services available to the most vulnerable in our community. At a time where it feels like there is little we can do to help, your support is greatly appreciated!
Together, we can make a difference!
