I’m going to let you in on a little secret. This summer loving girl doesn’t enjoy sitting in a cold basement on a beautiful summer day writing about Christmas fabric. If you are one of those people who likes to get a jump on Christmas projects as early as possible, I do NOT belong to your tribe. After last week’s Nantucket Summer Road Trip, switching gears to focus on Christmas has left me feeling like I have a bit of whiplash. I feel like I’ve gone from one extreme to another.

To all of you eager to embrace the Holiday Season for 2022, this email is for you. Like everything these days, there are supply chain issues and we’ve only just begun to receive our holiday shipments. Don't despair if you don’t see something you like this week. I promise there’s more to come!

For "my" tribe members, who think July is much too soon to even think about Christmas, I’ll meet you back at Nantucket Island. That’s what I would choose to surround myself in my sewing room right now. Given the overwhelming popularity of the Nantucket Summer collection this, I know I’m not alone! This Christmas in July email seems like the perfect opportunity to show you what Maddie is working on for her Fall Classes!

The Christmas Sampler Mini Quilt by Heart to Hand caught Maddie's keen eye and she's been busy making her sampler blocks. They are too cute not to give you a sneak peek! Maddie always makes creative improvements to all projects she works on and this one is no exception. She's taking notes so that she can inspire you to do the same!

Join Maddie, for three classes this fall to make the Christmas Sampler Mini quilt just in time for Christmas. While you typically don't need a sewing machine for Maddie's classes, you will need to complete some basic sewing at home for this project. Your time in class will be spent learning wool appliqué techniques as well as be inspired to put your own personal touches on this sampler quilt.

This mini quilt will finish at 20" x 25".
