The Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) held the official ribbon cutting ceremony for the CCIU Learning Center in Coatesville, PA.
Located at the former Center for Arts and Technology Brandywine Campus, the building has been renovated and re-purposed in order to house a number of high-quality programs such as Steps, Reach, and the Career Academy.

Chinese Delegation Visits Chester County
In late October, a delegation from Chongqing China visited Chester County and press near and far covered the event.

100th Next Generation Farm Loan in the state processed.
On November 13, the PA Department of Agriculture, PA Department of Community and Economic Development, Fulton Bank, and CCEDC visited the Clair and Donella King Farm in Cochranville.  Their son Kerwin and his wife Maria are 4th generation farmers who are using the loan to begin a duck farm.
