These Noblesville West Middle School eighth graders and their robotics teammates recently took home an award from the VEX Robotics World Competition in Texas! (L-R Auggie Vendt, Kelsea Law, Will Davidson)

All Noblesville residents (including those without children in our schools) are invited to share their feedback on academics, finances, student care and more. Parents, employees, and community members are invited to take the approximately 5-minute survey at nobsurvey.com by May 31. Findings will be used to inform strategic planning for Noblesville Schools.

Celebrating Our Employees

Superintendent Dr. Dan Hile and Assistant Superintendent Dr. Heather Hendrich recently delivered awards to dozens of employees throughout the district to honor years of service and retirements.

COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP LEARNING

We recently graduated our seventh class of Miller Ambassadors and there are now over 160 community leaders who have been through the program. Miller Ambassadors is an engaging, year-long learning experience for select Noblesville community leaders and school district parents to enjoy a deeper understanding of Noblesville Schools. Applications for the Class of 2025 will open this summer.

Meet Craig McCaffrey

NHS Principal

Dr. Craig McCaffrey has led Noblesville High School as principal since 2019, serving previously as an NHS assistant principal, and a high school principal in another district. He oversees all staff and programming at the high school, as well as having specific responsibility for athletics, music, and teacher evaluations. He holds a doctorate degree in education.

The school board has responsibility for major district functions including school district governance and oversight, setting school policies, approving funding, strategic planning, and hiring and evaluating the superintendent.

May 21, 2024 Board Meeting Highlights

The board recognized Teachers of the Year and music educators.
Students were honored for achievements in art, journalism, indoor percussion, winter guard and robotics.
Promise Road Elementary was this month's spotlight school and they shared about their school theme "Growing Together".
Annual updates to student and employee handbooks were approved.
The board approved that two future-construction neighborhoods currently in the Noble Crossing Elementary boundary area will be realigned to Stony Creek Elementary and Hazel Dell Elementary to minimize family disruptions and ensure adequate space for future students.
Bond hearings will take place this summer for NHS maintenance projects.

The Noblesville Schools Board of Trustees has been recognized by the Indiana School Boards Association with an Advanced Level Exemplary Governance award.
