Stryker Shirts Hot Off the Press | |

Michigan Team,
Stryker MCWS Shirts will be available for pick up at all building reception desks starting at 10:00 AM Friday, October 21st.
Huntersville Team,
For those who are regularly in the office, shirts will be available for pick up in the office early next week.
For those working remote, shirts will be distributed at the Holdiay Party on December 2nd.
*Only if you live over 50 miles from an office will your shirt be shipped. Please contact Liz Mace if there is no way you can pick up your shirt.

Holiday Party invitations will arrive by mail to your personal home address toward the end of the month. Stay tuned!
Holiday Party Room Block
Michigan:
Pratt Miller has a room block, with discounted pricing, for our 2022 Holiday Party at Hyatt Place Suburban Collection in Novi.
Attendees can make reservations two different ways:
- Use our dedicated reservation link. Make sure our discount code populates when using this link. If it does not, enter g-pm22 in the “Corporate or Group Code” field. https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/hotel/michigan/hyatt-place-detroit-novi/dttzh?corp_id=g-pm22
- Reservations may also be made directly with the Hyatt Place at the Suburban Collection Showplace reservations at 1-800-233-1234. Make sure you give our discount code to the person helping you.
All reservations must be accompanied by a first night room deposit or guaranteed with a major credit card. Hotel will not hold any reservations unless secured with one of these payment methods. Per your group contract, Cancellations must be received a minimum of (72) hours prior to arrival for a full refund. Cancellations received less than (72) hours prior to arrival will forfeit one (1) night room and tax.
Reservations must be received on or before November 12, 2022, to receive the discounted rate

Our very own Tom Waligora and Matt McMahan were able to support the prototype rover ahead of a testing event in Flagstaff, Arizona.
The test focused on conducting lunar analog maneuvers and operations to help develop future lunar missions.

- Beginning November 1, 2022 wear of safety glasses in defined areas of all facility shops is mandatory.
- Defined area is: Any area marked off with yellow and black caution tape on the floors of the shops. If you are stepping over the tape, then safety glasses are mandatory with no exceptions.
- Through the month of November an education and training campaign will be on-going, this so all employees fully understand the reasons and importance of wearing safety glasses.
- Safety Glasses can be located at the doors entering the shop areas. Please notify Tim Ryan or Rhys Bovie if the containers are empty or you are unable to locate them

Safety Reading Glasses are available by contacting Rhys Bovie on the 2nd floor of the Grand River building
- PME will supply through an Optical Vendor Prescription safety glasses
- SVS Vision is the current vendor to be utilized located at 29660 Wixom Rd, Wixom, MI 48393
- Receive the authorization document from PM Safety Office
- Employee must have a valid prescription (Less than 1 year old)
- Employee must stay within the prescribed parameters for the prescription glasses. Any plus ups to the glasses will be at the employee's expense
- SVS Vision bills PM directly
- Prescription safety glasses may be renewed every 2 years unless the employees prescription changes. If there is a change in the prescription the employee is authorized to get new safety glasses.

Our connection to STRIPEs this week is just fun... and delicious!
Our very own ECI Engineer, Christine Kakish, found inspiration during the manufacturing process of a power box designed by her fellow ECI Engineer, Audrey Stuckey.
Christine harnessed her passion for baking to create a replica of the power box in the form of a cake!
That's right, the green image below is a cake. Check out how it compares to the real thing (in CAD) in grey.
Passion, talent, and creativity like this really sets us apart from the competition.
