Hello friends!

A Season of Gratitude

During this season of thanksgiving and celebration, we want to take a moment to express how truly grateful we are for you—our Prosperity community. For those who were able to attend the Fall Forum, it was a joy to share that time together. For those who couldn’t make it, we hope to see you in the coming year. It is a privilege to be in community with professionals who care deeply for clients, their teams, and one another.

Prosperity has always been more than a network—it’s a family built on sharing ideas, celebrating successes, and supporting each other through challenges.

Whether it’s a creative planning solution, a generous exchange of ideas, or simply the laughter and friendship that fill the room when we gather, you remind us every day that we are better together.

This season reminds us that gratitude is at the heart of Prosperity. We are thankful for your dedication, integrity, and the warmth and generosity you bring to our shared work. You embody what it means to live our values—not just in how you serve clients, but in how you care for your teams and for each other.

With heartfelt thanks and appreciation,

Angela

Handling Client Complaints

It is important to immediately report potential grievances to the Prosperity Network OSJ. There are possible fines and possible loss of E&O coverage when a potential grievance or complaint is not reported in a timely manner. Please note that this includes written and verbal potential grievances.

CARs Reminders

Have you ever wanted to provide account values or performance information to a client in a simple spreadsheet or within the body of an email?

Watch out! It is most likely considered a CAR, which is not permitted.

OBA Process Reminder

Outside Business Activity (OBA) additions and updates must be submitted via the Licensing & Registration tool in AdviceWorks. The paper submission form is no longer accepted by Cetera. Please note that each registered person must enter their own OBA information into the tool. There is currently no way to delegate to someone else. Click HERE for an Outside Business Activity (OBA) job aid.

If you have any questions, please reach out to the Prosperity Network Compliance team: Email Us or call 913-529-5500 Option 2.

Prosperity Network of Advisors Fall Forum Re-Cap

Eric Bowen, Business Development and Member Success Consultant

We had an outstanding turnout for the 2025 Prosperity Network of Advisors Fall Forum, with more than 50 advisors and team members coming together to collaborate, learn, and grow. The energy throughout the day reflected the strength of our community and our shared commitment to helping one another succeed.

The sessions focused on key areas that drive success within our businesses: building strong and cohesive teams, defining clear career paths for advisors and staff, identifying strategies to grow and scale practices, and improving efficiency to increase overall capacity. Each discussion was packed with actionable insights, shared experiences, and practical takeaways for attendees to bring back to their own offices.

Beyond the learning and collaboration, this inaugural event provided an opportunity to connect, strengthen relationships, and celebrate the spirit of collaboration that defines the Prosperity Network. The day concluded with a special dinner honoring our founder, Paul Ewing, recognizing his incredible career, leadership, and well-earned retirement. His lasting impact on our organization and the lives of so many advisors was evident in the heartfelt stories and appreciation shared throughout the evening.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making this year’s Prosperity Network of Advisors Fall Forum such a success. We look forward to continuing to build on the ideas and momentum created as we move into the year ahead!
