The campaign takes place in all 13 of the communities that Beacon has a full-service Member Center. The project inspires individuals and organizations to reach out and serve those living and working around them.
The donation was a result of the credit union's affinity debit card program. President/CEO Bill Schirmer comments in this story and is shown in the video.
The credit union announced that after three decades of service, Paul Marsh has stepped down as President/CEO. The board of directors has named Waylon Peterson, current president of TCU Wealth Management, to serve as the new interim President/CEO.
Centra CU President/CEO Rick Silvers was the guest speaker for Brown County Rotary Club.

The Indiana Credit Union League Awards Committee is now accepting nominations for its awards programs: the Indiana Credit Union Hall of Fame, the Professional and Leadership Achievement Awards and the Emerging Leadership Award.
Entries are also being accepted for the state-level competition in CUNA's awards program.
