Advisory Updates for Vancouver Lake
Clark County Public Health has removed the beach warning advisory from Vancouver Lake after the latest water samples did not show elevated levels of bacterial contamination. We will continue to monitor designated swim beaches at Klineline Pond, Battle Ground Lake and Vancouver Lake throughout the summer.

Next scheduled date for E.coli sampling of all designated swimming beaches is July 11th
Harmful algal bloom being monitored at Vancouver, Lacamas, and Round Lake
There are no current bloom advisories, toxin samples show values below recreational guidance. Cyanotoxin results can be viewed at theWashington State Toxic Algae website.  Public Health staff will continue monitoring the bloom weekly until it dissipates.
Avoid areas of algae and scum while recreating.

Clark County's Green Neighbor's Natural Garden Tour is back!
This is a self-guided tour of vibrant natural gardens throughout the county that don't use synthetic chemicals! It will take place on Saturday July 17 from 10-4pm!
Find a Park or Trail
Have you wanted to explore the hiking trails and regional parks in and around Clark County? Now’s your chance! Clark County Public Health’s “Find a Park of Trail” webpage highlights a variety of trails and parks around the county and lists the different amenities that include: hiking trails, fishing spots, boat launches, picnic tables, barbeque grills, play equipment, basketball and volleyball courts, and more! Here are some highlighted fun water-related amenities and locations:
  • Fishing spots: Big Eddy, Captain William Clark Regional Park at Cottonwood Beach, Frenchman’s Bar Regional Park, Lacamas Regional Park, Lewisville Regional Park, and Klineline Pond/Salmon Creek Regional Park
  • Boat launches: Daybreak Regional Park and Boat Launch, Happa Boat Launch, and Lewisville Regional Park
