August 4, 2023 Update

Klineline Pond closed 8/8/2023 for maintenance

Klineline Pond at Salmon Creek Regional Park will be closed Tuesday, Aug. 8 for parking lot repairs. The pond area of the park will be inaccessible to visitors.

The closure will allow crews to resurface and restripe the parking lot. Visitors are reminded to avoid work sites and never enter areas that are closed with ropes, cones, signs, barricades or other devices.

Vancouver Lake Advisory lifted 8/2/2023. While blooms are present avoid areas of scum.

WARNING ADVISORY

• Lacamas Lake

A WARNING advisory has been issued due to a reported harmful algal bloom that tested for cyanotoxins above recreational guidance at this lake.

Public Health advises against swimming, boating, or using water for drinking or cooking. Keep kids and animals away from water. Do not fish in areas of scum.

Cyanotoxin results can be viewed at the Washington State Toxic Algae website. Advisory will remain in place until toxicity levels are below threshold for 2 consecutive weeks.

• E.coli/bacteria: August 7th
• Harmful Algae/Cyanobacteria: August 7th
