*Blooms conditions are present and being monitored at Vancouver Lake. Toxins are below advisory threshold but always avoid areas of scum.

WARNING ADVISORY

  • Lacamas Lake (issued 6/4/2025)



A harmful algal bloom is present and toxicity is above recreational guidance at Lacamas Lake and Vancouver Lake.

  • Swimming or water skiing not advised anywhere on lake.
  • Avoid areas of scum when using motorized boats, paddle boarding, kayaking, or canoeing.
  • Do not drink lake water.
  • Animals should avoid all water contact.
  • When fishing, clean fish well and discard organs.

  • E.coli (bacteria): July 21st
  • Harmful Algae (cyanobacteria): July 21st

Fishing is a very popular water activity at the lakes and rivers in Clark County, but there are general rules to follow to keep people and fish safe.

  • Check regulations where you plan to fish
  • Know the rules about catch and release
  • Have the appropriate gear and safety equipment
  • Consider getting a license
  • Don't leave fishing line or hooks
