Invention Convention at Kenston Intermediate School gives students the opportunity to learn the design process and create a product that will solve a problem that impact their day-to-day life. Fifth graders, working individually or in pairs, presented this device to judges from Rockwell Automation.

Congratulations to the students that were selected to tour and shadow a team of Rockwell Automation engineers. They were: Mustafa Arshad, Brady Baran, Guilia Batalotti, Charlotte Cowan, Jasmine Dejarnette, Payten Eikerman, Andrew Fender, Claire Garceau, Chloe Hebert, Carson Hyps, Yuma Keebler, Brynn Krahe, Grady Kucharson, Jared Lechak, Eve Lucarelli, Devin Macsuga, Megan Master, Chase McKenna, Ryan Menary, Nico Monger, Jake Myles, Anna Cate Niemes, Moraya Piunno, Brooke Race, Anthony Rumore, Tommy Seifried, Shriya Selvin, Becca Shafer, Josie Stever, Raegan Timmons, Daniel Wilson and Anna Woodard.
GRANDPARENTS' DAY AT TIMMONS
What a great Friday at Timmons Elementary School as they welcomed grandparents and special visitors of our First graders to school. During this annual event, grandparents toured the classrooms, shared memories about their school days and participated in educational activities.
KENSTON PARTNERS WITH SPECIAL KIDS
On Wednesday, April 17, in the middle school, Betty Patton Room at 6:30pm, the Kenston Special Education Department is hosting their annual Title VI B - IDEA meeting. Title VI B funds are federal funds used to support special education services for children ages 3 to 21.

Planning for the Summer for a Child with Disabilities including information about great vacation spots and local camps will also be discussed.

If you need to transfer Lunch Account funds between children or request a refund for a graduating Senior or child moving out of the district, our Nutrition Services Director, Andrew Mendez, would be happy to help you. As a special feature, on Saturday, April 13 at 1pm, Seuss-a-palooza
with crafts, reading and activities will take place
for children ages 10 and under in the cafeteria.

All tickets are reserved and cost
$14 Mezzanine, $12 Floor and $10 Balcony/Student seats. 
On Tuesday, April 23rd, CASA for KIDS of Geauga County and the Geauga County Juvenile Court Community Outreach Program will host Operations: Street Smart "What every adult should know about street drugs" from 6-9pm in the Kenston High School Robert A. Lee Auditorium. This countywide program is free and open to the public.  See attached flyer for details.
TRANSPORTATION CAREER OPEN HOUSE
Be part of our Transportation team! The Transportation Department is hosting a Career Open House every Wednesday from 9:30-10:30am at Gardiner Center. Training will be provided for those who do not have a Class B CDL with School Bus and Passenger endorsements.

KENSTON ATHLETIC BOOSTERS
Kenston Athletic Boosters are holding a Queen of Hearts 50/50 Fundraiser. Tickets on Sale NOW @ Unc's Patio, 10584 E. Washington St. Drawings will be held on Wednesdays at 7:30pm beginning March 6th. Tickets $5 - sold during regular business hours.
ALL CLASS REUNION
Mark your calendar! The Kenston Alumni Association will be hosting an All-Class Reunion on Friday, May 24 from 7-10pm at Centerville Mills. A $10 donation at the door will fund beverages and snacks. Details will follow from the Alumni Association.
