Green Team contribution at the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon!

Once again PTSA shows its full commitment for our Green School during the our luncheon. All our plates and silverware were compostable and we invited our staff and teachers to compost them all! No waste was our rule and we will remain the green gate keeper for the next PTSA events.

Gables Family Literacy Festival

Make it a Family Day at the Gables Family Literacy Festival on Saturday, May 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the War Memorial Youth Center located at 405 University Drive.

Embark on a literacy journey with the family at the third annual Gables Family Literacy Festival under the Youth Center tree canopy. This day-long celebration and Scholastic book fair promotes summer reading and the literary arts. The festival provides a unique experience for all ages and abilities and includes a street fair with literacy exhibitors and vendors, free literacy screenings and evaluations, children’s activities, book donation and exchange areas, author readings, book signings, live music, food vendors and much more.
