Women's Pay Equity Day of Action at the NJ State House
Join leading women's groups and progressive organizations for a Day of Action at the NJ State House to support the NJ Pay Equity Act, S992 / A2750. In New Jersey women earn 80 cents on the dollar, and the wage gap is even greater for women of color.
The NJ Pay Equity Act will arm women with tools to combat wage discrimination and help us take a big step closer to wage parity.
Participants will be able to talk to legislators just prior to the vote in the Assembly, helping to shore up support for the bill.
We will also witness this historic vote as it takes place.
Date: March 14
Time: 10:00 am
Place: Committee Room 12 on 4th floor in the State House Annex
Call Dena Mottola or John Connelly at (732) 246-4772 for more details.
