Celebrate National Park and Recreation Month with us!

Every July, we host a variety of family-friendly events to bring our vibrant community together for National Park and Recreation Month. This year’s theme, Build Together, Play Together, spotlights the collaborative spirit of building and maintaining parks while also boosting enjoyment of these green spaces.

Did you know Gwinnett has more than 50 parks and 140 miles of trails and greenways to explore?

Come join us for some outdoor play! Grab a bite and relax on the lawn of the Gwinnett Historic Courthouse on Thursday nights at the City of Lawrenceville’s Beats on the Streets with a fresh DJ mix. Relax and recharge beneath a canopy of trees at Sound Bath in the Park on July 26 at Freeman’s Mill Park. Hit the trails at Rhodes Jordan Park for the Big Foot Scavenger Hunt on Saturdays. And don’t miss the Full Moon Firefly Frenzy on July 10 at Simpsonwood Park. Discover more at GwinnettParks.com!
