The Synod will be held virtually on Thursday, April 22 in the morning (Eastern Time) and Friday, April 23 in the morning (Eastern Time). Haiti's St. Vincent’s Center for Children with Disabilities was founded in 1945 by Sister Joan of the Episcopal Order of the Sisters of St. Margaret. St. Vincent's is known throughout Haiti as a place where children with disabilities are both educated and cared for.

Watch the First Tuesday Webinar on the data story behind structural racism with the Rev. Ken Howard of FaithX in the borough of Brooklyn. Moving beyond opinion, the data tells a compelling story of present day impact of historical actions in redlining, the GI Bill, and more. Fr. Howard also introduced us to Map Dash and how to use Map Dash from FaithX to inform your parish mission and vision. Mapping structural racism for the entire diocese will be available in late May.

Great Music in a Great Space, the premier concert series at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine,will present a virtual performance of Johann Sebastian Bach’s St. John Passion on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 7pm. The St. John Passion has become a signature production of the Cathedral Choir and the instrumentalists of Ensemble1047, under the baton of Kent Tritle, Director of Cathedral Music. During this time of quarantine, musical expression reminds us that while we may be alone, we are also part of a larger community. Troubled by emerging records, Redeemer forms group to explore its roots

The story about Redeemer, Morristown’s origins suggests that at the time its members split from St. Peter’s, Morristown in 1852, they held a strong abolitionist position. Was this true? Were we being honest about our roots? A 200-year-old advertisement and a 100-year-old letter suggest that Redeemer's story may be more complicated. Read more.

A BOTTLE DRIVE will raise money for the Hilton Clothing Closet.
A BOOK COLLECTION with the books to be donated to ‘Mainly Books’ in Hilton in support of the Parma Public Library.
MINISTRY TO SHUT-INS - cooking, baking, flowers, small treats all being worked on to deliver to shut-ins and those in need
MINISTRY TO A YOUNG CHILD RECOVERING from a serious injury. One of our youth is recording video stories to be shared with him.
SUPPORTING LIFE SOLUTIONS - collecting gently used household items to donate in support of the ministry of “Life Solutions” in Hamlin.
FIRE HYDRANT CLEARING - One family worked hard to clear the snow away from 17 fire hydrants in their area (pictured here)
We applaud the efforts of our Youth as they use Lent as a time to make the world around us better.

Early in the pandemic, St. Philip’s, Buffalo began holding services online as a way to gather while COVID-19 made it unsafe to be together in person. Now, what began as a short-term solution has become a long-term commitment to a new way of worshipping. The congregation has transformed its space, installing technology that will allow in-person and online attendees to worship together as a single congregation once pandemic restrictions have been lifted.
