Celia S. Freeman, M.B.A., Is Named Assistant Dean for Continuous Quality Improvement and Strategic Planning
Celia S. Freeman, M.B.A., has been appointed assistant dean for continuous quality improvement and strategic planning for the School of Medicine (SOM). In her new position, she will provide leadership and project management support for critical assignments including accreditation, compliance, continuous quality improvement (CQI) and strategic planning within the SOM.

NYMC and TouroCOM Forge New Agreement for Admissions Interviews
 The New York Medical College (NYMC) Graduate School of Basic Medical Sciences (GSBMS) and the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine (TouroCOM) have announced a new agreement that will guarantee admissions interviews for GSBMS master's students or graduates who wish to apply to TouroCOM's Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) programs in Harlem N.Y. and Middletown, N.Y.
