Celia S. Freeman, M.B.A., Is Named Assistant Dean for Continuous Quality Improvement and Strategic Planning 

Celia S. Freeman, M.B.A., has been appointed assistant dean for continuous quality improvement and strategic planning for the School of Medicine (SOM). In her new position, she will provide leadership and project management support for critical assignments including accreditation, compliance, continuous quality improvement (CQI) and strategic planning within the SOM. Center for Disaster Medicine Symposium Addresses Current State and Future Direction of Disaster Medicine and Preparedness

The Center for Disaster Medicine (CDM) hosted a symposium on the Current State, Real Event Learning and Future Directions of Disaster Medicine and Preparedness on January 15. NYMC Welcomes Senator Peter Harckham to Campus 

New York Medical College (NYMC) welcomed newly elected New York State Senator Peter Harckham, second from right, to campus for a tour and discussion of the latest things happening at NYMC. NYMC and TouroCOM Forge New Agreement for Admissions Interviews 

The New York Medical College (NYMC) Graduate School of Basic Medical Sciences (GSBMS) and the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine (TouroCOM) have announced a new agreement that will guarantee admissions interviews for GSBMS master's students or graduates who wish to apply to TouroCOM's Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) programs in Harlem N.Y. and Middletown, N.Y.  Read the full article on the agreement.
