Hosted by the CNH District, this training connects SMP, CMC, and seminary-trained pastors with district leaders through shared learning, coaching, and mentoring. Sixteen new pastors participated this year, building lasting relationships across the West Coast. MAP continues to partner with LCMS PALS to align training with the wider Synod.

School Spotlight: St. Paul Merced
St. Paul in Merced is building stronger bridges between church and school by empowering students to lead worship. On Oct. 19, students from preschool through sixth grade took over the planning and execution of Sunday morning service. This was the second such event in the past year. Since Principal Ruth Sebastian took leadership in Fall 2024, she has worked intentionally to integrate all three ministries: church, school, and preschool.

If you would like to include any upcoming memorials, please click here to send the name, date of death, and date of service so that we may include them in an upcoming issue of the InTouch.
