In Revelation 7, we are given a glimpse of the great multitude that no one can number, from every nation, tribe, people, and language, gathered before the throne and before the Lamb. Clothed in white robes, they cry out: “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” (Rev. 7:10).

On All Saints’ Day, November 1, we rejoice that by grace through faith we belong to that multitude. We remember those who have gone before us in Christ and are strengthened to continue the mission until every nation hears this saving Word.

Psalm 149 reminds us to “sing to the Lord a new song.” The saints on earth join the saints in heaven as we lift our voices in worship and witness. We confess the Church is gathered and sent: gathered in praise, sent with the Gospel, until the Lamb’s feast is full.

The Movement Has Begun - And It's Growing

We’re thrilled to share that the 2025 Reformation Offering is off to a strong start, with nearly $4,000 already given! Praise God for the generosity that’s already fueling Gospel impact across the CNH District.

Every dollar makes a difference. Your offering:

  • Supports local ministries reaching our neighbors with Christ’s love.
  • Equips leaders through training and wellness care.
  • Helps new church workers through educational debt relief.

This is more than an offering — it’s a movement of hope, healing, and mission. And we’re just getting started. The Reformation Offering remains open through the end of 2025, so there’s still time to join in and multiply the impact together.

Let’s keep this momentum going! Learn more or give today: Click Here

Best Practices: St. John's Napa Presents Bibles to Students

Giving Bibles to Lutheran school students is nothing new, and some of you may do this as well, but here is one "best practice' for this process. St. John's Lutheran School and Preschool in Napa, California have a tradition of presenting Bibles to their new preschoolers and their second grade students at the start of the year. The congregation is asked to sponsor a preschool student by donating the money to purchase a Children's Bible, in which the sponsor can write a short message to the student. Then, when students start second grade, the pastor, DCE, and school administrator sign a new Bible for each of the students. Presenting Bibles in this way not only gets the Word of God into the hands of students and their parents, but it is also a great connection between church and school.

School Spotlight: Grace Visalia

Grace Lutheran School in Visalia, California has been providing quality Lutheran education along with proclaiming the Gospel of Christ with students and their families since 1977. The school is small with a current enrollment of 60 in elementary school and 57 in preschool. Although they are small and finances can be tight, the school has a tremendous culture and family atmosphere. The school is a blessing to Grace Lutheran Church and the greater Visalia community!

Bernita Brewer was called to glory in August 2025. She was the wife of Rev.
