Living God's Mercy: The Work of LSS
“Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful” (Luke 6:36). Mercy is never abstract. God, rich in mercy, sent His Son for us. At Lutheran Social Services of Northern California, they go to our neighbors in their need.
Since 1968, LSS has met neighbors at the hardest point in their lives. In fiscal year 2026, they served more than 7,200 people across 10 Northern California counties.
LSS thanks you for sharing in this work of mercy. Visit lssnorcal.org to learn how you can help.
