Place It in His Hands

When the crowds gathered around Jesus, the disciples saw a problem. Thousands of hungry people. Very little food. Not enough resources. Jesus saw something else: an opportunity to reveal the abundance of God’s kingdom.

The disciples offered what they had, even though it seemed insignificant. Five loaves. Two fish. In the hands of Jesus, it became more than enough. Everyone was fed, and there was still plenty left over.

It’s easy to look at our own churches, ministries, or personal lives and focus on what we lack. We wish for more volunteers, more finances, more time, or more opportunities. Yet Jesus continues to ask us to place what we have into His hands. He has always delighted in accomplishing extraordinary things through ordinary people who trust Him.

Faithfulness begins with offering what God has already given. The results have never depended on us. They have always belonged to the One who still provides more than enough for His people.
