2026 CNH Church Worker Wellness Initiative
“What if caring for your own well-being could strengthen your ministry, your joy, and your daily walk with God?” That’s the heart behind our new CNH District wellness initiative, Healthy Living, Healthy Serving. In 2026, we’re inviting every church worker to take simple, meaningful steps toward physical, mental, and spiritual health so that as we serve others, we do so from a place of strength not exhaustion.

School Spotlight: Zion Lutheran School, Terra Bella, CA
Zion Lutheran School is the smallest and most remote school in the CNH District. Founded in 1909, the school currently has 10 students in kindergarten through 6th grade. The faculty consists of two teachers and two aides, as well as the current vacancy pastor, Lloyd Willweber. Even though he is 90 years old, Pastor Willweber brings a lot of energy and zeal for the school and sharing the Gospel. The school’s future is unknown, but the Zion congregation should be commended for their dedication and sacrifices made for Lutheran education.
