CNH District Holds Spring In-Service
On Friday, March 21, 180 educators gathered at Our Savior Lutheran Church & School in Livermore for the annual CNH District Spring In-Service. The in-service was opened with a devotion by Paul Ferguson, CNH District Mission Executive. The main keynote this year was Chris McKenna from Protect Young Eyes speaking on the appropriate time and age for children to use technology and online access, referencing the excellent book on this topic, The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt. Teachers and administrators then spent the afternoon meeting in grade level breakout groups for discussion and connection.

Exclusive Link to "Already a Song"
The latest release from The Songwriter Initiative (TSI)—a project of Concordia University Irvine’s Center for Worship Leadership—reminds us that, even before we gather for worship and the congregation sings the opening hymn, Christ is already singing over us in His grace, inviting us to join in His eternal song.
“Already A Song,” written by Sam Barnett (Risen Savior Lutheran Church, Chandler, AZ), Elinor Paulison, and Jon Gruen at TSI’s May 2024 songwriting gathering, sets this truth to a congregational song. “Already a Song” was recorded at Farmland Studios in Nashville in February and produced by Kip Fox.
Here is an exclusive pre-release sneak peek of "Already a Song” (now available everywhere).
