April marks Autism Awareness Month, and students and instructors from the recent TECC-RTF course from March 30 to April 1, showed their support for the #LightItUpBlue campaign, highlighting that 1 in 31 children are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Last month, staff from facilities, public safety, and housing participated in hands-on training at the Center for Disaster Medicine, gaining critical skills in CPR and AED, Stop the Bleed, and opioid overdose prevention, efforts that strengthen NYMC’s readiness to respond to on-campus emergencies.
