Tracey Milligan, M.D., FAAN, and Sarah Parauda, M.D., Honored on National Stage with Top Neurology Awards


Tracey Milligan, M.D., FAAN, right, professor and chair of the Department of Neurology, was recognized with the A. B. Baker Award for Lifetime Achievement in Neurologic Education on April 20 at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Neurology (AAN) in Chicago, and Sarah Parauda, M.D., left, assistant professor of neurology, was also recognized at the meeting with the A. B. Baker Teacher Recognition Award, one of the AAN’s most respected honors, for excellence in neurological education.

NYMC Celebrates Earth Day with Campus Sustainability Initiatives


The Office of Student and Residential Life, in partnership with the Department of Environmental Health and Safety, hosted an Earth Day celebration in student housing on April 23. The event featured arts and crafts, plant giveaways, sustainability games, and opportunities for students to learn about campus sustainability efforts, including shoe and battery recycling initiatives.

A Pawsitive Break for the NYMC Community


Students, faculty, and staff found a moment of calm amid a busy semester as a campus wellness event invited the NYMC community to recharge, trading daily pressures for a dose of joy and companionship with visiting rescue puppies Fennel and Sorrel from Paws Crossed Animal Rescue on April 22.
