Days of Giving Raises More Than $450,000 for Student Scholarships
The Fifth Annual Days of Giving campaign on March 29 and 30 was a success, raising $450,343 to be awarded as scholarships to students in the SOM, the GSBMS and the SHSP. This year’s campaign yielded 260 gifts from 251 donors in 28 states. Read the full article on Days of Giving.

Annual NYMedTalks Event Focuses on Medicine in the Age of COVID-19
The timely topic of medicine in the age of COVID-19 was the focus of the annual NYMedTalks event on March 30. During the daylong virtual event, which is run entirely by SOM students, participants heard from a variety of health care leaders from across the country on how medicine evolved during the COVID-19 pandemic, and about innovations made to expand healthcare delivery and improve health outcomes in this new global era. Erin Foxx, SLP Class of 2023, Draws Inspiration from a Former Patient to Pursue Her Degree
Erin Foxx, speech-language pathology (SLP) Class of 2023, developed a close relationship with a patient in an assisted-living facility during her undergraduate studies before the patient developed dementia, thus becoming unable to communicate verbally. This inspired Ms. Foxx to pursue a graduate SLP degree to help senior patients who encounter the same struggles, and she decided that New York Medical College (NYMC) was her best choice to do just that. The Office of the Bursar Keeps Students in Good Standing
The Office of the Bursar at New York Medical College (NYMC) holds the central role of reviewing and tracking student tuition accounts at the College while facilitating and collecting payments. The Office’s daily operations are fundamental in allowing students to progress through their studies uninterrupted.
