February is Financial Aid Awareness Month.
“Financial aid is a great equalizer, leveling the playing field so that drive and dedication—not financial circumstances—determine tomorrow’s physicians and health science professionals," says Anthony M. Sozzo, M.A., M.S.Ed., associate dean for student affairs and director of student financial planning and student activities. "Financial aid opens doors to exceptional education, reducing initial costs so students can focus on their future impact. Our distinguished faculty and administration serve as support systems that create an environment where talent—not finances—determines success.”
