Touro College in New York Granted University Status

Touro College in New York State was granted university status by the New York State Board of Regents after the Board voted to amend the charter to change the name to “Touro University” in recognition of the institution’s advanced academic standing. With 35 schools in five states and four countries serving nearly 19,000 students each year, the designation will strengthen the school’s identity and ability to offer consistent, high-quality programs and opportunities to its students. Touro’s California and Nevada schools already have university status. Read the full article on Touro University.
