From the Phillip Capozzi, M.D., Library: A new update to the NIH Public Access Policy has mandated that all NIH-funded work published on or after July 1, 2025, must be made publicly available immediately upon publication. Failure to comply with the mandate could result in a loss of funding. The scholarly communication librarian is available to answer authors' questions regarding the recent update, and to assist authors in making informed publishing decisions for compliance. In addition to helping authors navigate no-fee options for open access, the library also offers discounts and waived open access fees for a number of journals.
