Turkeys are among the numerous fanciful creatures from children's storybooks that are reminiscent of the time when Sunshine Cottage was a pediatric tuberculosis sanatorium. Eight turkeys can be found around campus two Mr. Turkey Gobblers adorn the walkway connecting the MEC driveway to the Alumni House, and six additional turkeys decorate the gated perimeter of Sunshine Cottage.

NYMC will host our annual “Giving Tuesday" fundraising campaign to raise money for the Clinical Skills and Simulation Center. Proceeds go towards exceptionally advanced, true-to-life learning tools such as ultrasound central line training models, female catheterization simulators, lumbar puncture task trainers and eye exam task trainers, and comprehensive suture kits.
