The Birth of Messages from the Middle
This message is meant to offer "one stop shopping" for middle school parents to provide them with info and links they and their children may need. This email will be sent in the afternoon of the last day of the week to preview the week ahead in middle school.

The key part of this weekly message is the upcoming test and project section. This is meant to help students manage their time and plan ahead as appropriate. We hope this helps our busy middle school students and their families budget their time each week.

The information in this message is not meant to replace the daily planner that students are asked to use each day. The daily planner should still be the best source for information and updated each class period by students.

This message is NOT a replacement for the weekly E-blast for all Holy Cross Academy families. This email will highlight middle school specific information and will not repeat all the information from the more general, weekly message.

The middle school team and I hope that you find this additional weekly communication helpful.
Pennant Project
I would like to invite middle school families to donate pennants from their favorite colleges or universities to Holy Cross Academy to help decorate our middle school hallway. Students can bring their pennants in to the office and we will have them displayed throughout the middle school. These pennants will help differentiate our middle school hallway and allow our students to help decorate their space.

Our students are off to a great start on their academic and faith journey during their years at Holy Cross Academy. I hope these pennants will serve as a visual reminder of what our students are working towards later in their academic journey.

Mission Statement

At Holy Cross Academy, we are guided by the spirit of Saint Francis de Sales as we dedicate ourselves to:

  • Create an atmosphere of prayer and reliance on our heavenly Father;
  • Spread the message of Jesus in our families and our community by treating all persons with respect and showing reverence for the gift of God in each one;
  • Build up the Spirit-filled faith community within Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception Parish;
  • Serve those in need in our local community and in the Missions through an awareness of our global responsibility to all humanity;
  • Develop the whole child: spiritually, emotionally, academically and physically;
  • Promote academic excellence by challenging all our students to recognize their gifts and fulfill their God-given potential.
