 On November 10, 2018, the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) Detroit Chapter will convene its Community Conversations event in the heart of Detroit. With focus on disruptive changes and attendant Emerging Careers, NAAAP presents an interactive panel discussion with highly accomplished and dynamic speakers.

The Inaugural Community Conversations: Emerging Careers is the premier public event in our young history. Join us for an interactive panel discussion focusing on the why, how and what of the most in-demand careers and the skills required to be successful. We will have insightful leaders from various sectors leading the discussion. The audience’s participation will offer a more in-depth conversation, providing you with valuable information to assist in your own career journeys. This premier program is also a great celebration and networking event. With hundreds of professionals and business executives in attendance, the NAAAP Community Conversations: Emerging Careers is a wonderful opportunity for professionals and employers to get acquainted.

SPEAKERS ANNOUNCEMENT

Linglong He is the Chief Information Officer of Quicken Loans Inc. With more than 20 years of experience within technology, Linglong is responsible for the overall vision and leadership for technology initiatives across the business.
Chris Groscurth, Ph.D.: (Keynote, Panelist)
Practice Area Lead, Slalom
Chris Groscurth, Ph.D. is Slalom Detroit’s organizational effectiveness Practice Area Leader, and he is the author of the book, Future-Ready Leadership: Strategies for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. 
Christopher Olsen:   (Moderator)
Co-Founder and Partner of Drive Capital
A native of Cincinnati, Christopher Olsen built his career investing in emerging technology and healthcare companies. Prior to founding Drive Capital Chris was a partner at Sequoia Capital, and before that an investor with Technology Crossover Ventures.
Sanjay Dhall:   (Panelist)
Founder of Detroit Flying Cars, and Founder of Emergent Systems Corp.
Sanjay Dhall is the Founder of Detroit Flying Cars, and Founder of Emergent Systems Corp. After departing SDRC (now Siemens PLM) and Ford support in the late 90s, Sanjay launched Emergent Systems.
