With the peaceful transfer of power, President Obama steps down today to make way for President-elect Trump. In taking on this four year position, Trump will work for the people of United States of America. As we move forward into this new phase of American governance, there is a lot at stake and we must hold our government accountable.

Public health is on the line.

As medical professionals and protectors of public health, we need to stand strong, speak up and promote social responsibility. Lives here and abroad depend on the healthy environments and healthy communities. Stand with PSR Philadelphia as we do our part to educate, train, offer direct service and advocate for health.

Please see this week's entry in our climate change serie s reflecting on our political divide and the side poster for more detailed information about our upcoming Advocacy Training for Medical Professionals and Students on January 28th from 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. at Jefferson University's Connelly Auditorium 1001 Locust Street in Philadelphia.

We hope that many of you will join us and use this poster to spread the word. Please find the registration link  here  and be sure to urge guests to register soon, as registration is near its capacity.

Thank you for joining us in this commitment.

In deep gratitude,

PSR Philadelphia Staff, Board Members and Volunteers
