Centennial Water offers incentive programs to help customers become more water efficient with their outdoor irrigation practices. Incentive programs are evaluated by staff to ensure cost effectiveness for both Centennial Water and our customers.
Residential Rain Sensor Rebate - install a rain sensor to your irrigation system to interrupt the normal watering schedule when it rains.
Turf Replacement - convert water-thirsty plant materials, such as Kentucky Bluegrass, into a water wise landscape.
High-efficiency Nozzle - replace less efficient, traditional fixed spray nozzles with more efficient rotary nozzles.
Water budgets began to decrease in August and you should be gradually cutting back on the amount of outdoor water you are using. Your outdoor water budget will come to an end Oct. 15. You will see progressively higher tiered water rates over the allotted budget. However, customers will only be billed for water used regardless of the water budget amount.
Your water budget can be found on your water bill. To learn more about your budget or for water conservation information, click here or contact Water Conservation and Efficiency Coordinator Thomas Riggle at 720-240-4918.
Resource Central offers materials reuse
Centennial Water partners with Resource Central on a variety of water conservation programs throughout the year. In addition to conserving water, Resource Central encourages people to reduce waste.
Resource Central has a location in Boulder where a variety of donated items are available for purchase such as lumber, cabinetry, old doors, windows and even tubs and sinks. They often have creative contests to encourage repurposing items. This includes their Reclaimed Door Contest, taking place right now, challenging people to come up with a project utilizing a reclaimed door.
