Quarterly Updates for Residents

Spring 2025

Incentives Are Going Fast

If You've Been Thinking About an Upgrade, Act Now

In the last three months statewide incentives for heat pump water heaters and heat pump HVAC systems have run out. Federal HEEHRA incentives for heat pump HVAC systems ($8K & $4K) have paused but will restart soon and are likely to get reserved quickly. Act now and submit a 3C-REN interest form to start planning!

Key things to know:

  • 3C-REN incentives average $500$6,000 depending on the project.
  • Our incentives can stack with other programs (that have not run out of funds yet): HEEHRA, Central Coast Community Energy (3CE), and Santa Barbara Clean Energy (SBCE).
  • Incentives are accessed through 3C-REN-enrolled contractors, who navigate the programs, so you don't have to.
