Look for Possible Energy Efficient Perks for Homeowners in 2023

The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) is expected to help homeowners make their home more energy efficient and more cost efficient as well.

The act is reported to effect green-minded homeowners in 2023 by:

• Extending 30% federal tax breaks for rooftop solar installations along with home battery systems used during blackouts.
• Providing incentives for builders to develop energy efficient homes or retrofit old ones.

Let clients who want to take action now know about Quick Home Energy Checkups (QHEC). They can call their energy provider for a free inspection of their home. They may be eligible for free energy efficient upgrades.

You and any clients that may be moving can make a big difference in children's lives by donating used books to BookSmiles. 

BookSmiles has collected, sorted, and distributed over 800,000 books to educators and nonprofits, filling in the "book deserts" of our area. Big or small, all donations make a difference to a child.
