Dear NHSD families,

A student at North Hills Middle School was involved in an incident with a vehicle while walking to the bus stop this morning, Monday, Sept. 20, 2021.

The student was walking along Thompson Run Road around 7:15 a.m. and appears to have stepped into the road, making contact with a passing vehicle 

According to the initial report, the student suffered minor scrapes, bumps and bruises.

The student was assisted home by a family member and taken to the hospital as precaution. The student is expected to be okay.

North Hills School District police officers are assisting the Ross Township Police Department with their investigation. No further details will be released at this time.
