Whenever Scarsdale Public Schools announce a weather-related closure, we cancel all in-person instruction. However, certain classes may pivot to Zoom if feasible. Should that occur, registered students will receive an email with the Zoom link for that day.
All hybrid classes proceed with online only instruction. All Zoom-based classes meet as originally planned, regardless of weather.
In the event of a two-hour delay by Scarsdale Public Schools, then all in-person classes that begin at 9:30am or later will run as scheduled.
Please remember that any unanticipated school-wide closures are posted on the Weather/School Closing Info page of our website. The answering machine on our phone line (914-723-2325) is also updated to reflect our closure status. For mass cancellations, we do not notify students by email, particularly if experiencing power outages.
We do our best to make up all missed classes. Please help us keep you informed of make-up dates and times by including and/or updating your e-mail address when you register. We send e-mail notifications to all students in rescheduled classes.
