COVID-19 vaccine - what you need to know

Canada's public health organizations have started to rollout COVID-19 vaccines to vulnerable populations across the country. While this brings hope for a return to some normalcy, it also brings with it anxiety regarding how people with disabilities will be prioritized in receiving the vaccine.

Inclusion Canada has developed a resource guide for people with a disability and their families to ensure that the information you're receiving is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.

Answering your questions about the COVID-19 vaccine

On January 19 from 1:00pm-2:00pm EST, Health Care Access Research and Developmental Disabilities will be hosting a live Question & Answer period with Dr. Bill Sullivan about your questions regarding the COVID-19 vaccine. A similar webinar for people with a disability and self-advocates is in the works.

Bill C-7 equates disability to suffering

In a recent op-ed, Inclusion Canada President Robin Acton discusses how Bill C-7, a bill to amend Canada's Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) legislation, demonstrates the federal government's lack of understanding about the lives of people with a disability. She urges parliamentarians to slow down and give the issue the attention and consideration it rightly deserves.
