We were shocked and saddened to learn of Gabriele Conn-Lewis' recent passing. Gabriele served as a VBCF volunteer extraordinaire, beginning as a member of VBCF's Peninsula Chapter in 2009. She was an engaging 

personality - thoughtful, passionate, and practical about the work she did.


At the local level, she was a doer, taking on increased activities and leadership responsibilities as the years went on. Beginning in 2015, she served as the Chapter Vice President and then President. In 2016, she was nominated to represent the Chapter as a statewide Board Member.
