How long have you been at NTM?
I started in February of this year, so over 4 months
What was your first week at NTM like?
It was a bit scary at first. I didn’t know what to expect out of a small shop like NTM, having worked at larger companies before. I didn’t exactly know what NTM would expect from me.
Any notable memories over time? What has changed?
I learned quickly how welcoming NTM is as a place to work. The employees here are genuinely nice and respectful. During an NTM BBQ lunch that also included an all-company working meeting, I sat with my department and provided some of my ideas on improvements. It really made me feel part of the team.
What are you doing now?
I have learned how to run several machines and processes. I do most of the Brazing, Manual grinding, all Cam grinding, some Tru-Tech Centerless grinding, and am learning how to run the Walter Helitronic machines.
What do you do outside of work? What are your hobbies?
I love working on cars. I am also in a Go-Kart League and am enjoying being on the NTM Trap Shooting team.
