Greetings from C. Darby Ulery, founder of "Let's Go! Fairhope," events-related newsletter, calendar and website resource for Fairhope, Alabama.
This Friday, July 4, marks 249 years since the signing of the Declaration of Independence for the United States.
There will be no Art Walk this Friday, but the Baldwin Pops will be at Henry George Park on the bluff and the City of Fairhope's annual fireworks display is planned for Municipal Pier. Be sure to note the City's comments regarding changes related to ongoing construction, below, and choose "view entire message" for more July 4 info.

Thank you to Dunn Hester of Dunn Hester Photography for sending in this patriotic image featuring Old Glory and Fairhope's iconic rose garden fountain taken before renovations began last year. Looking forward to seeing both familiar and new views at the pier this Independence Day!
| | Thank you to a resident of the Willows for this important reminder that revelry does not look or feel the same for all of us. May we remember the sacrifices of yourself and others as we celebrate. Thank you for your service. | | |

Many thanks to Ashley Gray and Locals for being this week's headlining sponsor. Local's will be sporting our new Let's Go! Fairhope coasters out on the lovely marble tabletops in the ally downtown this summer. Feel free to stop by, enjoy a meal or beverage, and even take a couple coasters home. ; ) Let us know when you need more, Ashley!
P.s. Just a reminder, we don't cover many food specials in Let's Go! Fairhope, so check out The Eat Beat for foodie-related Fairhope-area news.

If you prefer to recognize a friend, family member, or even the family dog, we can do that, too.

From the City of Fairhope:
Due to the ongoing construction for the Working Waterfront Project, several changes have been made to ensure a smooth event experience:
• South Beach Park will remain closed throughout the event.
• The Rose Garden Circle will be reserved for pedestrian traffic only, serving as a prime viewing area for the fireworks.
• Handicapped parking will be available to the right of the Rose Garden. Visitors requiring handicapped access are encouraged to arrive early to secure a spot.
• North Beach Park will be open until all parking spaces are filled.
This event is family-friendly and alcohol-free. Attendees are reminded that personal fireworks are not allowed on the premises.
