Things are heating up in the Kenosha Area. The temperature is rising and the events calendar is expanding. From Fourth of July events to the Ren Faire season starting – we’ve got your July planned for you.

CELEBRATE AMERICA

The City of Kenosha celebrates Independence Day with a free, family-friendly festival. There will be a carnival (July 2-4), live music on two stages (July 3-4), food and beverage vendors, children’s activities, and a fireworks display over Lake Michigan on July 4. There’s also a patriotic Kenosha Pops concert. Note: the carnival has fees.

Bristol Renaissance Faire

IMMERSIVE LIVING HISTORY

July 11-12 is the opening weekend for Bristol Renaissance Faire. “A lively 16th-century village bursting with music, laughter, spectacle, and larger-than-life characters,” is how the operators describe this nine-weekend attraction that is set on a summer day in 1574 when Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth visited the English city of Bristol.

Taste of Wisconsin

TASTE OF WISCONSIN

Three days. Free admission. 30+ food & drink vendors. 80+ entertainment acts on 4 stages. Outdoors on the Lake Michigan shore. Will we see you at Taste of Wisconsin? The dates are July 24–26.

Peacetree Music Festival

PEACETREE MUSIC FESTIVAL

This annual festival next to Lake Michigan is July 31 and August 1. This is a family-friendly gathering of peace, love, and music… embracing life and community. Kids under the age of 15 are free.
