EMA, Student Information, and Enrollment Forms

The district and building are continuing to use a program called FinalForms. This is for any child currently enrolled in our schools. All of these forms will need to be up to date for the 2024-25 school year.

Technology and Communication

1 to 1 Device for Students:

IMS is a full 1 to 1 Google Chromebook school. Each student in grades 5-8 will receive their individual Chromebook within the first week of school. These devices will need to be taken home nightly for ALL students to be charged for the next work day.

Email Communication:

All large group communication with our IMS community will continue to use Constant Contact this year. While no product can guarantee 100% delivery of emails, Constant Contact has one of the best percentages. If you know of anyone not receiving information please have them notify me personally to ensure they are up to date on all content.

Class of 2029 Parents and Students

This is a reminder that the 3rd and FINAL deposit of $175.00 is due Friday, September 6th for the 2024 8th Grade October DC Trip. Final reservations are being made now for the October trip. More information will follow as the school year begins! Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Independence Athletic's Ticketing Information

The 2024-2025 school year ticket prices will be as follows for Independence High School Athletic regular season home events.

Adults $8.00

Students K-8 $5.00

IHS Students FREE

Seniors (65 & older) FREE

Children (5 & under) FREE

Tickets will be available for purchase online through Hometown Ticketing and there will also be cash ticket sales at the gate.

Independence Athletic Passes will go on sale Thursday August 15th at 2:00pm at https://independence.hometownticketing.com/embed/all?schools=1

IHS Student Pass

-IHS Students will be able to receive their athletic pass at Hometown Ticketing. To receive their free pass, students will need to enter their student ID as the passcode to unlock their ticket.

Additional Ticketing Information

-The Chagrin Valley Conference has set a standard High School ticket price for regular season events at $8 for adults and $5 for students.

-The Chagrin Valley Conference has set a standard Middle School ticket price for regular season events at $3 for adults and $2 for students for schools that choose to charge admission at middle school events. Independence Schools will not be charging admission for home middle school events.

Student Arrival

Doors open at 7:15AM for any students being dropped off. This means student drop-off is from 7:15-7:35AM. Students arriving after 7:35AM will have to check in at the main office front doors.

5th and 6th grade car riders: Students enter through the auditorium doors located in the back of the building. This will be the same for pick-up after school.

7th and 8th grade car riders: Students enter through the front of the building auditorium doors. Pick-up students will exit via the main office front doors.

*If you have multiple students in multiple grades then follow 5th and 6th grade entrance/exit.
