Seventh-Grade All-Pro Parent Breakfast

All seventh-grade parents and students are invited to an All-Pro Parent breakfast in the IMS cafeteria on Friday, November 22, from 7:15 to 7:40 a.m. The All-Pro breakfast includes a message for both parent and child to take away. This is a FREE event for all.

Boy's Basketball

There will be boys basketball open gyms on Tuesdays for the month of November starting Tuesday the 12th from 6:00-730PM at the middle school. These open gyms are for any seventh and eighth grade boy who is interested in playing basketball this year.

8th Grade DC Video

Eighth-grade students had a wonderful time in Washington, D.C. visiting the museums, monuments, and memorials in and around our nation's capital. Use this link to check out the video.

Yearbook Cover Contest

It's now time to submit your design for the 2024-2025 Yearbook Cover Contest! Please see the document below for more information. The winning design will receive a free 2024-2025 yearbook!

Builders Club

The next Builders Club meeting will be Monday, November 11 after school in Mrs. Koussa's room until 3:30 p.m. The president of Independence Kiwanis will be joining us to share the club mission, and we will also be planning our annual canned food drive! This is an important meeting- hope to see you there!

CAVANAUGH PHOTOGRAPHY RETAKE DAY-11/13

1) If your student was absent on the first picture day, he/she can get their picture taken on retake/absent picture day.

2) If your student was absent on the first picture day, there will be an ordering site available so you can order online. (cavanaughphoto.com/order) Or, if you placed an order before the first picture day and didn’t realize your child would be absent, it will be honored.

2) If your student wants a retake, you must bring back the original picture packet that was ordered. Or, if you only ordered a hi-res digital file, please send a note in with your student stating that a hi-res digital file was purchased. If the packet or note is not returned, a new package will not be printed until the original is turned in.
