India's January oil imports from US at all-time high: Report
India's oil imports from the US has touched a record high in January, Reuters reported citing data obtained from sources. The share of Canada and the United States of America in India's January oil imports surged to a record 11 percent while that of the Middle East and South America declined, the report said.

Amazon ties up with Mahindra to deploy 10,000 EVs in India

India enters phase-III of Covid-19 vaccination, in which around 270 million people are to be inoculated, firms are looking to ramp up capacities at their production units. Pune-based Serum Institute of India (SII), the world’s largest vaccine manufacturer that produced 1.5 billion doses last fiscal, is ramping up its capacity (including non-Covid vaccines) to 2.5 billion by the end of 2021.

Iron Mountain to invest $150 m in Web Werks to boost India biz
Iron Mountain Data Centres general manager (Asia Pacific), Michael Goh said, “India provides an important next step in expanding our Asia Pacific footprint". Data centre services provider, Web Werks on Thursday said it has entered into an agreement to form a joint venture (JV) with Iron Mountain under which the US-based company will invest $150 million (around Rs 1,086 crore). The investment allows Web Werks to grow in its existing markets of Delhi NCR, Pune and Mumbai as well as expand into Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai.
