Gas-based economy crucial for Atmanirbhar Bharat says PM Narendra Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that a gas-based economy is crucial for Atmanirbhar Bharat and work is being done in the direction of "One Nation, One Gas Grid". Prime Minister Narendra Modi also inaugurated the Kochi-Mangaluru natural gas pipeline, via video conferencing today.

Budget session to begin from 29 January, Finance Bill to be tabled on 1 February

The crucial Budget session of the Parliament will begin from 29 January with the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government laying stress on economic revival amid the covid-19 outbreak. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Union Budget for the financial year 2021-22 on 1 February.
